Kay’s Request for Cocodamols

My wife has asked me to write you this message because after trying several times she feels like she may not be saying it clear enough for you to understand. She is becoming progressively worse in her health because she feels let down by your prescription method, which may well be her fault but she has no medication and effectively the staff at the surgery, or one in particular, is saying tuff to her you will have to go without until your next prescription date. I know that is true, as do a couple of our friends, because we witnessed the very poor attitude to her on the phone.
My wife has been taking CoCodamol for decades so is addicted to them as well as needing them to relieve pain. Somehow, they have become out of sync with her other medication. On the 2nd September she received her prescription however, her CoCodamol was not present. When contacting the surgery they said they could see the problem but it took until the 13th September to get the missing tablets, which she had to give half of them to me because I had to borrow her some of mine. On the 16th September she requested her medication and again the Cocodamols were not there but her other medication was there, but she had already collected them so she gave them back to the chemist and went to the surgery to see where her CoCodamol were. They said they are still out of sync. She now puts her script in on the 4th October ready to be collected on the 11tn October. She then recieved a text message saying that she had put the script in a week early. She put the script in 3 weeks after receiving her last medication in time for 11th October, 4 weeks after the last one. But she is still waiting for the CoCodamol from the 16th September. She has no pain killers. She has had half of mine so I have no CoCodamol left. She has used up any spare ones so is now in constant pain. It is the responsibility of the doctor to prevent their patients frosuffering in pain unnecessarily. Forget the complexity of this problem she is in pain and needs medication. She is not trying to get extra medication she just wants enough to relieve her of her pain. Please can you give her the prescription for 224 tablets that she has not had. Doctor, the attitude of your receptionists strike fear in your patience because of their hostile attitude. It is a real problem that is ongoing which hinders your patience’s rather than assists them and cause my wife to feel worse then she should do. It is not fair. Please can you help, in accordance to your hypocritical oath
