What kind of a mindset is it that when you say to them, please do not call me Derek, I find it offensive and then from that moment onwards, at every possibility opportunity, calls you Derek for no other reason but to offend you. what must be the state of a mind that would do that. I know that not all people believe in God and the devil, however we all believe in good and evil, right and wrong, nice and horrible and subscribe different attitudes to each emotion, i.e. child abuse can be categorized as evil and feeding a starving child can be categorised as good behaviour. So, hurting someone intentionally by calling them Derek can be categorised as good or evil. To me i would select the evil button for that and believe that the majority of test subjects would do the same. Publishing your findings is a encouragement to those who choose good and a condemnation to those who choose evil. It is fundamental to most people unless you are narcissistic. Which one is my daughter Naomi who calls me Derek instead of dad and Kay instead of mum. We are their biological parents so no matter how much you hate your parents it is the sign of a troubled mind to call them anything but. Simple deduction. How secure would be your friendship if you were friends with that person. Would you be wondering how much of a loyal friend she would really be?
