The church of Jesus Christ, and edifice for those who want to improve their vanity and boost their ego. Most leaders, not all, are autonomists or borderline narcissists. People who never want to be challenged for their decisions making and always be right, so they use the spirit of God to cover their errors “well that is what the spirit told me to do” There lack of discernment is monumental. People who have recieved a temple recommend after committing adultery or fornication the night before. The Stake President issuing it not having an inkling of their unworthiness. Their excuse, “perhaps the spirit did not tell me because he wanted to teach a principle” rubbish.
I know this because I took this woman to the interview after overhearing her talking to a friend about her sexual encounters the night before. I was shocked when she came out with a temple recommend inher hand. I could not go in and tell the Stake president that he was wrong. Because, in all honesty, he would not believe me and would, no doubt, consider me to be a troublemaker, and i would never get a calling in church ever again. I warned her not to use it, but she defiled the temple anyway and used it and was excommunicated for sexual sins months after.
